What is WinJunkie?
WinJunkie.com is North America's first exclusive platform providing you with all of the thrill and excitement associated with entering exclusive one-day, one-week, and one-month contests to win free gift certificates, discounts, goods, and services from top local and national vendors.
With WinJunkie.com, you can share every contest you enter with friends on Facebook, followers on Twitter, contacts via Google + and by E-mail. If they enter the contest because you shared it… you get an extra entry! We almost always select multiple contest winners and often provide consolation prizes to all “non-winners” so no one goes home a loser! We disclose the username of every entrant in real-time and select and disclose the username of all winners within minutes of a contest's conclusion.
Is there a cost to enter a contest?
No! If there was a cost involved, we’re pretty sure we wouldn’t be in business (not to mention in jail), and we would have had to call ourselves something more like ‘Pay-To-Enter Junkie’. Not as catchy in our opinion!
I like today's contest - how do I enter?
Simply click 'Enter to Win' before its too late! It’s that easy. If you have yet to register as a WinJunkie member, you’ll be asked to join prior to entering your first contest. Make sure to keep your eyes on the timer!
How do I share a contest on WinJunkie.com to get more contest entries?
Upon entering the contest, a contest entrant will receive their own unique sharing URL (the “URL”) which can be shared with friends on Facebook, tweeted through Twitter, shared with followers on Google + and/or sent to others via e-mail. Subject only to the availability of remaining contest entries, a contest entrant will receive one (1) additional contest entry each time the URL is used by a WinJunkie member to enter the contest.
Do I still get an extra entry if the person I refer to the contest secures the last available contest entry?
No. We're sorry! Unfortunately in these circumstances we cannot provide you with an extra entry as we need to hold true to our maximum entry number. And if they so happen to win, think of it as your good deed of the week. Good karma is never a bad thing!
How does WinJunkie choose its contest winners?
WinJunkie takes a “pick a name out of a hat” approach to choosing all contest winners on WinJunkie.com (although no actual hat is used in this process as winners are chosen electronically using that same approach). Once your name (or entry) is chosen as a winner, all of your remaining contest entries are also removed from that hypothetical hat.
So I can’t win more than one time per contest?
Unfortunately, that is correct. Allowing you to earn multiple contest entries is done strictly to help provide you with greater chances to win.
Wahooo, I won! Now, how do I use my WinJunkie Voucher?
Easy! First, sign in to your WinJunkie account or click the link in your winners email to access your WinJunkie account. Second, click 'redeem' and successfully answer the Skill Testing Question. Lastly, print out your winning voucher and present it to the vendor to redeem your prize. It’s that easy!
What's this I hear about a consolation prize for losing? Is it true that loser's are not always losers with WinJunkie.com?
You got it! Some of our contests provide for consolation prizes for 'not winning'. While not as good as the winners’ prize, contest losers may sometimes be eligible to receive a discount or some other form of benefit redeemable with the vendor. As such, a consolation voucher will be issued accordingly. This is not always the case so be sure to read all contest rules and details to find out if this applies to your contest!
Do I need to use my WinJunkie Voucher the same day I win it?
No. Most WinJunkie vouchers cannot be used until the day after your win. Please keep your eye on the expiry date to avoid a wasted voucher! The expiry date will typically be 1 year following the issue date, however it will be specified in the contest’s rules.
If I don't use the full value of the WinJunkie Voucher in one visit, can I use the remainder later?
No. Unless otherwise stated you do not receive a store credit or cash back for whatever you don't use. Live a little, use it up!
Can I combine my WinJunkie Voucher with other offers or specials?
No... unless the local vendor has a sudden change of heart when they look into your eyes.
Is WinJunkie safe?
Yes... Unless winning hurts. All personal information provided to WinJunkie is 100% secure. As there is no payment information processed through the website, there is no risk of credit card fraud.
Can I return a WinJunkie Voucher?
It’s free, why would you want to!? But hey, if you really don’t want it, I’m sure one of our staff would be happy to put it to good use!
What happens if my WinJunkie Voucher expires?
Too bad, so sad. Unfortunately once the voucher expires, it is no longer valid and cannot be used to get that free stuff you were promised. So please use it within the specified time period!
What if the business for my WinJunkie Voucher closes down?
If the business to which you won a voucher closes its doors, unfortunately, that voucher will become useless. Just another reason to use it up quick!
